Camp Ross

Bears & Webelos,

Please do not register your scout for Camp Ross yet. Colin Sellar, a Den 4 parent, is coordinating our Camp Ross attendance this year. He will be sending out instructions for registration to the two Camp Ross dens in the next few weeks. Please wait to register your scout until then.
Right now, the only people who need to do anything are those that request financial aid from the council, which is due now but not registration. So no further action is needed until you hear more from your leaders.
If Finances are an issue, please apply at https://www.gotogoshen.org/registration/#camperships

Are you ready for Camp Ross this Year?!! We will be staying at Camp Ross in Week Three of the Camping Season, July 5 – 11.
Thank you, Colin Sellar, for being the coordinator!

Several adult leaders will attend camp this year, but we also need a few parents to come to keep our scout to adult ratio in check. That was how I first came to Ross and it’s been a great experience ever since! If you choose to attend as a parent, you are there in your capacity as a de facto leader, not as a parent. You will be expected to share troop-wide responsibilities with other adults attending. We will also be asking you to take an on-line youth protection training (BSA Required, but really good training this year) and consider driving other kids to and from camp. Easy stuff and well worth it for the Ross experience!

Parents can do a full week or half week - either first or second half. Please indicate this in the sign-up form.

Pack 33 makes sure that any camper interested in attending can afford to do so. Although it is technically past the due date, Camp Goshen is still accepting campership applications and they can be found at this
https://www.ncacbsa.org/goshen-campership-application/. If you would like to request financial assistance, please complete the application and return it directly to the National Council. If you do please also contact me, so we can coordinate any campership you may receive with our registration.
