Pack 33, let's get ready to race!

The big Pack 33 Pinewood Derby race is THIS Saturday, March 5. This hybrid event will be streamed via Zoom or Facebook (details to follow) as well as attended in-person for those who are comfortable with that, at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church assembly room (310 Tulip Ave). We do need parents to sign up to do some Volunteering during the event so it runs smoothly.

In order to keep social distance, we’re assigning dens to specific time slots::

Wolves: 10 -10:55a

Arrows of Light: 11 -11:55a

Tigers: 12 - 12:55p

Bears: 1 - 1:55p

Webelos: 2 - 2:55p

Sibling/Community Race & Fastest in the City:: 3 pm

Please be patient if attending in person or watching virtually -- we will do our best to keep everything running on schedule, but sometimes things get complicated.

To expedite racing and/or facilitate remote viewing, you may drop your car off in advance of the race (before March 5) on my porch at 1352 Kennedy St NW, Washington DC. Leave your car in the big green box marked “MAIL.” Please fill out and include this registration form in a ziploc or other small package containing your car. You may also drop the car off in person at the church, between 7-9 pm on Friday, March 4 while we are setting up the track, or in the first 25 minutes of the time window blocked out for your den.

To help the race run smoothly and on-time, we need adult VOLUNTEERS! Please use this SignUpGenius to book yourself for one or several shifts. Den leaders please sign yourselves up for roles during your den’s allotted race slot.
