Hey Pack 33, I got the official word today we have been invited to join Pack 23 in their Veterans' Day Ceremony in Takoma Park on 11/11 at 4 pm, socially distanced before. Please see his email below for details. Hello Scouts and Parents, Pack 23 is going to celebrate Veterans by having a socially distant flag ceremony and wreath-laying at the Veteran's Memorial across the street from the Takoma Park Library. We will meet at the memorial at 4:00 PM on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. You can park at the Takoma Park Library (101 Philadelphia Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912) and walk across the street using the crosswalk. Some Veterans from the Knights of Columbus (St. Michael's Church) will be joining us. Again, this will be a socially distant event. The whole observance will take 30 - 45 min. We will be raising, lowering and folding the flag, which will satisfy some requirements for the older scouts. Please wear your class A uniforms and MASK. This will be a rain or shine event.
