Our July event is a Rock Creek Hike led by the den chiefs (& leaders). I know we are all excited to get outside & get away from being online (though I just got back on) so let's go have some low key, outdoor fun in the city on a great hike. It counts toward the summertime award and potentially rank requirements for your scout. If you are working on the scout ranger program, it should count towards that as well. Note: even though we will hike from the nature centre, the centre itself will likely be closed but there are some awesome trails from there for all ages to enjoy. Can't wait to see you guys there! Date: 24th July 2021 Time: 1pm est Where: Rock Creek Park Nature Centre, 5200 Glover Rd NW Park: You will park at the main rock creek park nature centre Bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, close-toed sandals/shoes, if possible, snacks, a bandana is optional. Who: Everyone, including sibs, family, friends & other scouts as well. On Pack Page: This can count towards any rank or badge requirements but also go towards the summertime award. So please come. The den chiefs will be leading hikes based on who we have there. Please do bring water bottles as I am not sure if the water fountain will work there. We can't wait to see you guys there!
