Our March pack meeting is on Monday the 29th at 7 pm & we will be doing something exciting... Letterboxing as a pack!
This is a super creative way to get the scouts & our scout family outdoors, socially distant, & doing something creative. We will have our normal pack meeting virtually where scouts will learn what letterboxing is (with a game of course!) & we start working on putting it together. Each family then will be able to participate with their scout in creating the letterbox. Scouts will earn a patch for successfully creating their letter boxes!
WHEN: Monday the 29th TIME: 7PM MATERIALS TO GATHER for the zoom meeting: Lots of Paper, Stapler, Scissors, Pen
They will be making the letterboxing journals to go into the letterbox & one for themselves at the virtual meeting. What about the stamps? I have ordered stamps so those scouts who don't have stamps can have access to receive a set of stamps (2 - one for the letter box, one for the scout to participate in the letter box).
Can Siblings/Family Participate? If siblings or parents want to participate they are more than welcome & encouraged to, however, we will have only enough stamps for the scouts themselves so you would need an extra set of stamps for any one else besides the scouts).
Where do I report the Letterbox Clues? Once you have created your letter box, you will come back & fill out the clues on the form on the "Letterboxing" page on the pack website. Then the Letterboxing page on the pack website will be updated with the clues you guys put up.
LETTER BOX CLUES! (will update as we get clues for the letterbox)
