Hey Pack 33, So this year, we are going to be celebrating all our scouts graduating to their next ranks on the 19th of June at 11 am! Please put this on your calendars. What makes this even more special is that it will be the first time since the pandemic, in over a year, that the pack will have been able to meet in person. And with that, I bring great news... starting with the June Picnic, we will be able to do in-person/hybrid again at both den & pack levels, in accordance with what is allowed with public safety. Are you excited about that? I am! Details, Details: Date: 19th June 21 Time: 11 am -12 pm Who: Everyone Where: Takoma Recreation Centre, 300 Van Buren St NW DC 20012 & there is Street Parking Class A uniform: Yes, if you don't have one due to the pandemic, don't worry but let's try to get everyone to wear theirs Masks: Yes Health Forms: Yes, if you haven't turned it in already, please do so now by emailing them to the first aider & your den leader. Bring: Neckerchiefs, Water, Picnic blankets, food for your family, sunscreen Remember, that everyone is welcome, will rank up & you can still work on your current ranks if you need to during or after this ceremony. You can see on the map below the exact location we plan to be, to help give you an idea. We do have a group that has reserved the space after us, but you are welcome to utilise the playgrounds & anything that the rec centre has opened after the ceremony. The pack will provide cupcakes to everyone but it's important to note that due to the pandemic still, we will be asking families to bring their own food for their families. We can't wait to do the potluck style as we normally do next year. We will be doing a cool new tradition that the Arrow of Light scouts have left us with, so come to find out what it is!
